Default Truestart worked against me !!!!

Being a U/SA car you would think I would be always leaving first, but yesterday at a team race I left second. I go red and didn't think much of it. Picked up time slip and slower car was also red. We both were -.031, so the system had to go to 4 digit to get worst redlight. To think I'm all in favor of Truestart.

On a side note the gear change helped with.04 faster to the 330, but appears to have made all of third gear run rich now by my o2 readings. Im assuming Im loading motor harder now in third and fuel demand is up? Before with 6.14 I was actually lean and out of motor RPM range.

Did not show on slip and I did not go to ask in the tower. I knew system was on and I just excepted what was determined. If I had just only staged 1/32 of an inch less I might of won LOL.

I'm wondering why you didn't go to the tower with the slip showing your opponent went red? Jim

The decision was made by going to the fourth number on reaction time. Only 3 to the right of decimal are shown on time slip. So in this case it was that close.

You didn't tell us that! You stated both drivers red lighted "the exact same amount". I thought you meant they took it all the way out and they were both the same. If you had said that in the first place it would have been a no brainer! I'm too old to be wasting time on puzzles with pieces missing! Jim
