This could be a great start up class for NHRA to get in. I've been after them for the past five years to start a class just for new cars. I've talked to BFG drag tire comp person in charge for their sales and would love to see an NHRA class at divisional level and then at national level. They could call it the 1320 class. Imagine all the Mustangs, Z/28, Camrys and so on that would love to show up in this class. It would be in a bracket racing format, no modification except tires, wheel and exhaust no headers, of course a gear change only/lol
\ But like usual NHRA will drop the ball.
What Stock class will the Challenger 1320 fit in today?
Will it be competitive against the cars currently in the class?
The 2019 Dodge R/T 1320 is in the NHRA Classification Guide with a P/W rating of 8.23. That allows it to run AA, A or B/Stock depending on racing weight.
