I noticed a stock class Qjet car running a 1/2 inch fuel line and figured it must be a good idea for a low HP car. MY question is until I get a better elctric fuel pump will a cheapo mr gasket electric pump keep up with that huge fuel line? 115 inch wheelbase 1700 pound roadster. (on pump gas).

I had a good 140 gpm on my long wheelbase olds wagon.-8 to the front running a qjet on a 307 motor. It did not work. 5 3/4 lb down to 3lb going down track. Went to 275 magnfuel and larger regulator and now only drops 1/4 lb.
But I will admit car did not go any faster with consistent fuel pressure. |
