The car would fit into Super Comp or brackets, probably not a good choice for Comp or TD. It's more like how you fit the cage and how well it matches the rest of the chassis. The seat lay back angle is also a big factor. Take extra time and look for chassis fatigue and cracks especially in the frontend area. Do not buy if the chassis does not have a NHRA chassis certification tag.

Hacksaw gave you some good advise. Must have a current tag!
You need to be comfortable in the seating position. Need to see how you reach the pedals, chute release, and shifter. Find out who built the car. I have had three dragsters and quite familair with them. Have any questions just fire away. Good Luck Jimmy |

adjustable pedals is a good option to have if you want to change drivers a soft tail car would be a better option hardtails can bounce around alot in the shutdown area

Is the shutdown area of you local track smooth, like some of the other folks stated the hardtail can get unstable on tracks that are not smooth. Sounds like you have a fun plan, put a thead in the build section on this site.
Like Hacksaw said try to find out as much as you can on history of the car before you purchase it, contact previous owners if you can. |
