Default 1970 GTX Vitamin C Orange 440 Six Pack 4 speed for $65,000

1970 Plymouth GTX Vitamin C Orange 440 Six Pack 4 speed for $65,000

The car runs and drives very well and is easy to drive and is fast when you press the go pedal. There's just something magical rowing through the gears with the pistol grip shifter and the six pack carbs grabbing 1,350 CFM of air driving down the road.

The car gets attention EVERY TIME I drive it. People approach me when I get out of the car to check it out and talk about it.

This original Vitamin C car was restored by a gentleman in the late 1990’s in St. Charles, Missouri. The Mayfield, Kentucky owner before me purchased the car in 2002 and converted the car to current six pack carburetors and hemi 4 speed transmission.

This is one of only 193 Vitamin C GTX’s built in 1970. Only 7,748 GTX’s were built in 1970.

The 440 six pack engine has 10.5:1 compression with stock 906 heads with hardened valve seats, 0.030” over Diamond pistons, Eagle rods, Crane cam, MSD 6AL ignition system and TTI headers and exhaust. This is not the original engine for this car.

The A833 Hemi 4 speed 18 spline transmission was rebuilt by Brewers Performance during the 4 speed conversion and has a B&M clutch. The 8 ¾ rear end has a 489 carrier with Richmond 4.10:1 gears with a Sure Grip differential by Auburn Gear. Power brakes with front discs and power steering both work well. Tires are six months old.

This GTX originally left the factory with a 440 four barrel engine and automatic transmission on the column and air conditioning.

The fender tag shows J25 (3 speed wipers), M21 (roof drip rail moldings), R11 (AM radio), V6X (black stripe), 26 (???), EK2 (Vitamin C orange), A04 (basic radio group), B51 (power brakes), C55 (bucket seats), 633 (???), H51 (air conditioning), P6XA (charcoal cover with perforated part in black and silver welts), TX9 (black velvet), 615 (???), 011676 (???), E86 (440 4bbl), and D32 (heavy duty automatic transmission).

I’m only selling the car because I honestly think this car is too nice to drive as much as I want to drive it. I don’t want to worry about paint chips from rocks and door dings when I drive it.

I have a clear title in hand ready to be transferred to you.

I’m also open to help export the car if needed as I have some experience exporting heavy equipment parts around the world.

Open to trade for a driver quality Cuda or Challenger.

Additional photos of the car are available as well. My website only allows a few photos.

Thank you for decoding the rest of the fender tag.

It has same "build date" as my youngest daughter, LOL. But she's quite a few years younger than this car.

Hell, the car is 7 years younger than I am.

Relative late build. I'd love to see the "pink car's" fender tag!

All 4 spd GTX's include a Dana 60 back in that year.
(Not just 6 Pack)
Either 354 with Track Pac OR 410 with Super Track Pac
Mandatory to order one of these with 4 Spd specified.

If you read the ad, car was originally a 440 4 bbl with automatic. That's why it has a 8 3/4" rear end.
