Default Topeka Weather

This is dangerous heat. NHRA needs to rethink the scheduling of this event.

I clearly remember competing at the Summernationals in July at Englishtown when you could fry an egg on the hood of the race car.

Might be the same Summernationals Frank. A friend Tom Davidson with his SS/D "Blue Angel II" Hemi Cuda staged the car and then the heat got to him. He popped the clutch but at idle and it kind of rolled and jerked to a stop. No Don Garlits but just one long ago memory.

Looks about the same as the forecast for the double divisional just about every year.

This year was great; only Wednesday and Sunday were pretty hot.

I'll be headed down tomorrow afternoon.

It’s pretty normal weather for Topeka. Humidity is low and wind is always blowing so it doesn’t feel nearly as bad as it looks.
