Default Info for Buckeye S/SS Race @ Dragway 42 June 20-21

This weekend , Saturday June 20th and Sunday June 21st, will be our first (finally) races of 2020. They will be held at Dragway 42 in West Salem , Ohio.

Both days will pay $2000 to win and $500 for runner up. Round money will be paid starting with second round winners.

There will be a test and tune on Friday for those of you that want that and also note that racers can stay overnight as well. Test fee is $25 and testing is from 6pm until 11pm. Gates will open at 4pm. Testing will be 1/4 mile.

Saturday gates will open at 8:00 am. You will purchase a Saturday wrist band at the gate ($25) and then come to the Buckeye S/SS Trailer for your Saturday tech card ($100). Tech cards will then get turned back to us and we will get them to the tower.

Sunday is similar purchase procedure as Saturday but the color of the wrist band and tech cards will be different for Sunday. A wrist band and tech card will need to be purchased for each day.

Saturday we should get on the track for our first qualifier around 11:00. We will get 2 qualifiers on Saturday. The first will be the Mid Ohio Paving Dial for Dollars. Put your best ET prediction on your window. The driver that is the closest to their dial in wins $100. We will qualify and do first round parings based on reaction time. Your best reaction time for both runs will be used.

Sunday should pretty much mirror Saturday with the exception of only getting one time run on Sunday. The Dial for Dollars will also be awarded on Sunday too. Make sure to go to the gate and purchase a Sunday wrist band first so you can come to our trailer to purchase your tech card for the Sunday race. Fees are the same as Saturday.

Each day we will award the racer with the Best First Round Losing Package $100 courtesy of Parsons & Myers Racing Engines of Dayton Ohio.

The Buckeye Bounty Hunter Award provided by Joe Galucci of KB Trailer Sales will pay $100 to the racer that defeats the fellow racer with the bounty placed on them. For the first race the Buckeye Bounty is on the 2019 Buckeye S/SS Drag Racing Series Champion, Brad Ross. Sundays bounty will be on the winner of the Saturday race.

Spectators are now allowed to attend, so bring your friends and family.

If there are any other questions that need answered you can call me at 740-359-5877 (Jeff Ross cell). See everyone there at Dragway 42.
