Well no I still want it to conform to the rules of Super Stock, so I wouldnt run a bigger motor or different heads. Just like if this was the 1990’s and I was to build a super stocker. Like a throw-back build.

1st, There weren't many Fox body S/S cars out ther 25 years ago. The HP rating was not favorable. There were a few FE SS/GT cars.
2nd, Back halfing or at least tubbing for 14/32's started in the late 70's, so I've got to ask if you are going to drive around the streets on 14/32 slicks?

Thumbs up Re: Best cam for E7 Heads

Put a pro street grind in it that will clear the existing pistons, tall valve covers, an aftermarket intake and some10.5x28s and call it good.

Period correct 5.0. You will spend about 30 grand to get close if you plan to try racing under the index. IF anyone will give you a Cyl head profile and a for real SS camshaft design. Forget using a stock block. Im sorry to say, this is not something you really wish to do. We spent tons trying to make SBF stuff go fast. And thats all now outdated.

Sorry, told you wrong on the cam lift. I looked back at my notes, it was .745
