Schedule of Events November 15-16, 2008

Gates Open - 8:00 A.M.
Time Trials - 9:00 A.M.
Eliminations - 1:00 P.M.

Lane Assignments
Lane 1 – Sportsman Junior Dragster (8-12yrs)
Lane 2 – Advanced Junior Dragster (13-18yrs)
Lane 3 - FootBrake #1 and FootBrake #2
Lane 4 - FootBrake #1 and FootBrake #2
Lane 5 - FootBrake #1 and FootBrake #2
Lane 6 - FootBrake #1 and FootBrake #2
Lane 7 – Super Pro #1 and Super Pro #2
Lane 8 - Super Pro #1 and Super Pro #2
Lane 9 – Super Pro #1 and Super Pro #2
Lane 10 - Super Pro #1 and Super Pro #2
Lane 11 – Time Trial Tech Card Lane
Lane 12 - Open

Event Rules and Details

• This Race is a 1/8th Mile Bracket Race.
• All Run Time Trials will run until 12:30 P.M.
• There will be a 30 Min. Break for track personnel.
• Eliminations will begin at 1:00 starting with Footbrake #1 to lanes,3,4,5,& 6 followed by Super Pro #1 to lanes 7,8,9 & 10. Once Super Pro #1 is half done in the lanes, Footbrake #2 will be called to the lanes followed by Super Pro #2. This will continue in the same order throughout the race.
• Parings will be done by Card Draw until 8 cars are left in each class.
• When each class get’s down to 8 cars each, a ladder will determine parings for the remainder of the race. The qualifying round will be the round before the last 8 cars in each class. The ladder will be determined by closest to the dial, to set the pairings.
• The winner in each class FB1 and FB2 will run each other for the Final Round. The same will apply for SP1 and SP2.
• All Juniors will qualify based off reaction time and placed in a ladder.

Is the footbrake class, slicks only or will there be street cars?

2 classes, electronic and footbrake. street tires allowed and street cars would probably run no-e unless you have a trans brake, delay box, etc...........no t-brakes allowed in footbrake or they wouldnt' call it footbrake,LOL http://www.houstonarearacing.com/ind...?topic=21211.0

Great race... I owned it! LOL runner up on Saturday and winner on Sunday.... very nice payday for a weekend at the track.
