Smile Factory Stock Rule Changes

Effective immediately, the upper supercharger pulley size on the COPOs is increased from 3.125 in. to 3.250 in.The upper supercharger pulley size on the Drag Paks is increased from 3.375 in. to 3.500 in. The Cobra Jets with the 327 engine have a weight reduction from 3575 lbs. to 3525 lbs.
It's about time that the Cobra Jets got something in their favor and the COPOs and Drag Paks are penalized.

Well since I am the one that got this ball rolling apparently and not trying to sound like crying about the rule change. If you look at the back end splits I was either the same time or slower than the fords or slower than the dodges. We got a great team and a great car so we will just keep pushing forward wide open. This is the games we all expect to play in this field.

Lenny, Welcome to the front of the game, with Tomi and Dave working for you they will put you up front most of the time. They are two great guys and they know how to get the best out of any combo. It just feels weird being on this side of the game for a change but they penalized the Fords so much in the past its difficult getting back to the front without getting some of it back. I wish you luck you have a great team and I really don't think a 1/8th of an inch on your SC pulley will slow your team down. See you at the next race

They did so right after the Norwalk National Event in June when Del Holbrook ran 7.66@181+ in Q1.
