Stock quota at Pomona..
Appears as though there were 64 Stockers at Pomona last year...So the quota was prob 60 with 4 provisionals.? This year the quota is 50 ? Makes sense to me ....

Found last year's National Event quota list on nhraracer. Last year 60 cars were allowed in each sportsman category (Stk, SS, SC, SG). This year SST is competing. It appears to compensate for the additional class, the remaining classes have been reduced.

Quota has been reduced by 5 (actually reduced 10 for the fall Charlotte and Vegas races) for several events during the course of the year, many of which filled last year. Suppose they can change the quotas as they like during the course of the year but it “appears” they want fewer of us to contend with plus you have to make more room for souvenirs and hospitality suites. Having racers attend more Divisionals and Opens for grade points is of course a win/win for NHRA since purses are so minuscule compared to entry fees.
