Quick 16 Added To Dragway 42's Rock & Race - Pre-Enter By June 30, Then Race For Free

Dragway 42 has added a special "Quick 16" eliminator for machines from all eras of drag racing history as part of its 4th Annual "Rock and Race" nostalgia weekend.

If a $1,000 to win / $400 RU / $200 Semi / $100 Quarter cash payout wasn't enough, the low qualifier in both the open body and door car categories will both take home a pair of Mickey Thompson slicks.

To top everything off, all Quick 16 entrants who get their $50 car and driver entry fee to the track by June 30th will get their fee returned upon making a qualifying attempt at the event.

The rules are very straightforward.

1/8th mile with .5 handicap Christmas Tree. The ladder will be the 8 quickest door cars and the 8 quickest open bodied cars as long as all qualifiers run 5.80 or quicker. Otherwise, the track may adjust the balance of the field.

The schedule has one time trial on Saturday evening, July 16th, then a time trial and a pair of qualifying sessions prior to eliminations on Sunday, July 17th.
