We have improved on dialing the car. The data logs are easy to read and shows a few places that could use a little adjustment, I think. The ET slip will be the judge. Maintenance on the car before Norwalk.

Just ran the valves this afternoon and the worst one was out the thickness of a hair. Those T and D rockers stay put. Oil and filter change for the transmission tomorrow.

Once you get the fuel table optimized along with the suspension the car should print tickets. When the combination is optimized the car will be consistent.

. Save every map change with a unique file name so you can go backwards.

I only have a few major stumbling blocks, I don’t know how to drive a computer and lack confidence in making changes to the tune. I’m so afraid of loosing what I have or screwing it up so bad it won’t run. But I will get better. I feel like I have some of the best people to help me if I have a problem.

Larry, Signman has given you excellent advise about saving everything in your racing computer.. Mine are saved by date, type of run IE P1 (practice run 1) and what track was the run was made.. It all comes easier the more you do it. I still have the FAST system on mine and probably will have to switch to the Holly system sooner or later and have to relearn it all over again but I do think my experience with the FAST system will help me a lot to pick up the new system.. I still review it every so often to keep it fresh in my mind.. For me it's use it or lose it... I try to use it before I lose it... Good luck and I am sure you will be comfortable with this before you know it!! Rooting for you guys at every race you attend....

Larry here is a video on file management

Basic file management methods are pretty important to not lose a good tune and be able to go back to it. Also keeping a note pad with changes will be helpful.
