Roll call: Make A Wish race
Make-A-Wish race Sept 19-20 at TVD, Marion S.D.
Join us again this year for the annual MCR Make-A-Wish race at Thunder Valley Sept. 19-20th. This years race will look a little different as the M.A.W. organization and kids and families won't be in attendance due to the Covid situation. While we'll miss the interaction with them, we're mindful of the fact that these kids have significant underlying health issues and need to take all precautions possible. Nonetheless, they'll all be there in spirit and we'll still have the opportunity to contribute to make another child's Wish come true. The track has been busy doing sealing on the track surface and pit area as well as putting down more asphalt millings on the remaining pit roads to further help in dust control. Again this year is the Last Chance Shootout on Sunday sponsored by Midwest Factory Finishes. All 1st round 'runner -ups' automatically go into the shootout at NO COST for $1,000 win, $500 r.u. and $250 semis! This has proven to be a really fun addition and we thank Charlie Abdouch for sponsoring it again this year. Pay out both days Win $3000 - RU $1500 - Semi $600 - $400 - $200 - $100 Entry only $110 per day Last Chance Shootout (Sunday only) Win $1000 - RU $500 - Semi $250 (this race FREE to all 1st round 'runner ups') Thanks to out sponsors: Midwest Class Racers - Watertown Ford Chrysler - Selland Trucking - Midwest Factory Finishes.

Re: Roll call: Make A Wish race
Cherie at Thunder Valley has put together a nice plaque with this image for the winner of Saturday's race. These are just some of the M-A-W kids and families that have participated in this event.
Thank you!

I'll be there for sure. I will miss not having the kids there and the parade with them but we can still benefit the cause.
