Any Ford car techs here a few ???

My nephew is selling his 1 owner 2008 Ford Fusion. Don't know which engine or trim packaged it has. 106000 miles on it no accidents any problems with these cars that I should be aware of I know some years has transmission problems of various types--- what I'm asking basically for a 10 year old car other than basic repairs like a battery brakes or tires etc what should I be aware of-should I stay away from it or can it be a decent buy- Thans Fed387
