S, S/S @ Gators this weekend

Just glanced at the entry list for Gainesville in S, S/S this weekend and the lists are rather short. Is it likely that the fields will increase at the last moment ?

Field is already closed. Many dropped out, with both St Louis and Maple Grove having their divisionals plus the big Galot race (and better weather probably) I can understand it but still seems strange to see Gainesville with Denver sized fields. I’d bet the Fletcher Clan is in Galot just as a example and who could blame them. Oh yea, NMCA running in Indy too. Wow, lots of choices

Okay, thanks. I was looking forward to seeing more than 30 or so cars in each class on NHRA.TV coverage.

Well, know it’s a tad harder to get your racing fix with the closed border but D1 will be broadcasting from Maple Grove and Unk and Warren will be broadcasting from St Louis starting in the morning. I’ve been known to set up two monitors on such occasions....seems odd not seeing the names Clark, Nolan, Gullett, Howes, etc on the sheets.

Some I spoke to had to drop out because of scheduling conflicts after the race had been rescheduled multiple times, myself included. I wanted to go but couldn't make it work this time. If one more had dropped or doesn't show in Stock and SS it will be a 5 round race.

What yall are forgetting is that for the sportsman, its actually the Southern Nationals. Quota for that race was 45 I think. It's only the Gators for the pros
