Default Live from Galot Motorsports Park

Well, we made the trip to Galot from home with no issues that's a good way to start any trip. The plan is to run the race at Galot then visit relatives for a couple days then hit the divisional race at VMP next week so it going to be a busy couple weeks. Looking forward to catching up with our racing family, some we haven't seen since the winter trip.

There's about 15 rigs here not much happening and it's HOT in the 90s. Can someone tell me how to keep the gnats away. Those little buggers are terrible

Dryer sheets work! Also in your car during winter storage! Bounce sheets are good.

Thanks for the tip I'll give it a try, When the winds not blowing those little buggers are bad. We're sitting here plugged in with a water hook up (little weird not have the gen running at the track) and going to need it its going to be in the 90s all weekend. We went to dinner at Gregory Vineyards with our good friends Ruth and Rudy Mathews and have a good time. Always good to see and catch up with friends. The plan is to run the TNT today and try to get dialed in to the 9.35 index. More later

I gave the dryer sheets a try and the jury's still out on how well they work. We went out to dinner with a group of racer then had a game of putt putt golf what a good time. Termite thanks for setting it up when we got back the place was packed. Theirs more rigs here then I've every seen who said Drag Racing is dying. The TNT was a bit of a challenge with a DA around 3200FT it made it tuff to get dialed in but the track was good. I here we get 3 time runs today starting at 9.

Another HOT day yesterday. We got our 3 hits and the track stayed good (at least for me) but man the weather is making it tuff to dial. It rained last night and I'm sure the humidity will be 200% this morning. Suppose to start at 9 this morning but I don't know if the rain will postpone that. Sorry for the lack of photos I'm having trouble down loading them to the computer I'll keep trying. I forgot if you don't know already you can watch on line at Dragracer,tv
