I have to say that I'm amazed at all the tributes to Croz on Facebook. It's been going on for going on two weeks now. Not that he doesn't deserve them, but he did have a way of getting publicity, whether it was good or bad

Written by David Crosby. Crosby - electric guitar, vocal; Jerry Garcia - electric guitar; Neil Young - Electric Guitar, Phil Lesh - bass; Mickey Hart - drums; Bill Kreutzmann - tambourine.

Hi Mark,Hi everybody. This one reminds me of why I'm SOOO glad I grew up when I did. Yes we are are slowly fading out of existence, person by person, but we're all so lucky to live thru THIS.

That Split Ends bout cost us our lives one crazy night. Kid I lived with and I had a late night/early morning party at the bachelor's pad we built. We invited the bar to head to out to our place when they called last call. It was a common practice as we had the best stereo in town and man o man did we party. There was a gas stove that stuck out from the wall in the living room. The sound system was in there also so the parties started out in there. It was in the winter time and that heater ran pretty much non stop in those late 70's winters in Ohio. I woke up the next morning before Brad did so I was the first one to walk into the living room to "clean up". I bouts fell over when that Spit Ends Album was laying on TOP of that gas stove. The Album was completely melted and the cover edges were all brown and crispy. It had been really close to catching on fire.We probably came close to being burned up that night. Good times!
Always kind of liked this one..
