I would call Darren @ B&B, he may have a bracket that would attach to the k-member for pulling the car in. My car has this bracket from Watson Racing.

That sure look sturdy. Looks like you could pull a tank out when hooked to it and the car in reverse. Mine weighs less than 8 Oz. going down the track. My car always has a 300# gorilla in it. Not as strong but just as heavy.

Fine tuning a bunch of little stuff on the car. Lowering throttle return spring to keep it from rubbing on the air pan. Eliminating drag on secondary throttle linkage. Locating O2 bung placement on new collectors. Lookin and planning on the best way to install, if possible, an oil retention device that allows some serviceability. Almost ready to rescale the car. Installed trans temp gage. All of our gages are Classic Instruments and are they great looking. Classic Instruments has a "Stock Eliminator" water temp gage that goes from 40* to 220*.
I'm excited about the Water temp gage. I will be able to find out what the engine likes in the car at the starting line, 40,60,80 or what ever for class. Finding out what it likes is one thing being able to duplicate it is another. Maybe I could get some help from the Emmons brothers or California Car Cover. Those teams do a good job.

Larry,
You're a humble man. What you're engineering is a real race car built to go rounds and credit is due to your vast experience and fine craftsmanship.
Kudos to you.

Did you get your tow hook figured out. I will get a picture of mine and the way Timmy did it.. I think it is welded to the frame can't remember but will get a photo the next time I am in the garage and send it to you...

Hope this came thru. Also I have switched my wire rope for a 3/4” braded nylon rope. Works just as well and doesn’t mess up anything on the front end. Hope this helps. I also cannot drive my car into the trailer. Way too much Mack!!!!!

We got the car scaled thanks to Gary Jennings telling me what to do by phone. My son Chris helped in the process. Joey from Ray Skillman racing helped by phone and texting pictures. I think it might be ready to test all recording devices, two step, auto 1-2 shift. I still need to recheck a lot of stuff, where is my list?
