If you do the math, for a 64 car field, D4 is paying out less money while taking in over $2560 per class (Super Classes).

Most racers are still looking at the top number and saying, "thank you, NHRA!"
Tony,

I’m right there with you. I raised my entry fees for my series $5.00 last year and it was basically to make it an even number ($75 to 80) and I turned around and added most of that cash to the payout and for some people you thought I was holding their children captive, NHRA raises it when they are already making money on each class and a track rental and everyone is like “praise them”. I don’t get it but, I guess just keep on trying to have fun till we can’t no more.

Who would be dumb enough to praise nhra for giving up more money overall, when that appears to be untrue. I guess racers won't be showing up looking for their free entries and Wally's now. Shucky darn.
