Default Anniversary of Pearl Harbor attack

On this day 79 years ago, the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor killed 2,403 U.S. personnel.

The birth of the Greatest Generation, hopefully their legacy will live on in this and future generations.

It was very disapointing to watch the news this morning for 1 hour and no mention of Pear Harbor.

With all the other stuff that is in the news today, I guess Pearl Harbor and what it means to history isn't as important as it once was. A REAL SHAME!!!!!!!

To all who lost their lives that day - we salute you.

Could not agree more, Jeff!!! But, they can spend 80% of the hour rehashing the same Covid crap that they throw up every single day! We, as a nation, cannot fathom what we all owe those guys.

It was the same thing a couple of weeks ago - hardly any, if any (not a single word in the Houston Chronicle) about JFK.

ABC had a tribute last night to the last two survivors of the USS Arizona. Brave men and true heroes.

Indeed some of MSM acknowledged the anniversary. In this unsettling time where many would seem to want to erase our history or at least diminish it that’s refreshing. Remember, without crucfixion there would be no resurrection.

My last comment about this subject.

President Franklin D. Roosevelt gave a speech to joint Congress on Dec. 8th 1941- - - "A Date Which Will Live in Infamy". was part of his speech. Evidently that is no longer true for the news network.

I don't even think they teach about any of that era in schools anymore. I could be wrong, but what a shame if they don't. Parts of our history (right or wrong) are being erased.

I have subbed for years at the secondary level, rest assured it is still part of the curriculum...mandated.
