Ss/gt 2005 cavalier
For sale. Might consider trade. Former Tommy Phillips car. Santhuff struts, Koni coil over shocks, Wilwood master cylinder, all Mark Williams brake system and complete rear end. New dash, seats, Braille batteries, MSD ignition and FAST XFI 2.0. More info, just call 408-761-6199.
Originally built for Jim Boburka. According to Tommy, the Cavalier was taken completely apart (at Sullivan Motorsports in Dallas) and was rewired, re-plumbed and back-halved to add in a new four-link suspension and a different rear end housing configuration over a 2 1/2-year rebuild. Completed for the 2014 season. Phillips then had Bret Voges (Voges Racing Engines) build him a 350ci LT1 fuel injected engine. The engine is backed by a Pro-Trans-built three-speed automatic with an A-1 converter. I bought the car at the end of August 2016, had it painted, there was a new engine that Tommy had Voges working on, including a new Bowtie block fully machined by LSM and lightened. I had him finish it and put it in the car. I got the car in May of 2017. Everything is close to new with 12 runs on the new engine. Tommy said he put 59 passes on the car. You can find a few passes on Dragracetv from the Indy divisional this year. Here's one from Friday, at the 3:07:03 mark.
