Re: Pace American Trailers status?
Looks like Mike is right. Can't get through to the GA factory or home office and one dealer said that a potential buy-out by another manufacturer fell through. If that's the case, RIP.
They were a good contingency sponsor along with their trackside support. I feel bad for the employees. |

Re: Pace American Trailers status?
I looked at a new pace stacker a few weeks ago on a dealers lot and asked about this and warranty work if needed. They told me if someone buys the company then I might be able to get some warranty if needed. But they are selling the trailer as though the company has gone out of business and therefore there is currently going to be no warranty. I also spoke to another dealer out of arizona and I am not totally sure whats going on but they cant sell any of thier trailers now and are looking at going out of business because of it.

Re: Pace American Trailers status?
I bought a used Pace and wanted to contact the factory about a copy of the Certificate of Origin because the title didn't have a weight on it. Florida won't tag a big trailer without a weight. But they insisted that I have it weighed here instead of using the info from Georgia. Actual weight empty turned out to be 1,500+ lbs MORE than the certificate! More tax $$$ for Florida.

Re: Pace American Trailers status?
My industry contacts have confirmed that Pace is dead with no buyers on the horizon.
Most all of these trailer companies use the same parts other than the proprietary nose caps and aluminum cast corners with the company logo stamped on them. We buy most of our replacement parts from Redneck trailer supply which has numerous warehouses around the country so any of you guys needing parts, look them up. By the way, Millineum trailers is built by Vintage trailers. We have switched over to selling Forest River products specifically the Continental Cargo trailers for the big race trailers. Decent trailer for the money. Hope this helps! Mike G |

Re: Pace American Trailers status?
I hate to hear this. I always felt like Pace made the best of the steel trailers. I'm on my second one and the fit and finish always seemed to be a little better than the competitors.

Re: Pace American Trailers status?
I bought a used pace stacker a couple of weeks ago. If anybody knows of a dealer that has pace decals in stock I would appreciate it. They buffed and waxed it and ruined the two decals in the back that read "Shadow GT" in maroon and black. If I could get them it would be great as its the only thing wrong with the whole trailer and really sticks out when looking at it.
Thanks Rob |
