Do away with the whole ring spacer get up. Might need steel spacer in your diesel pistons but a unnecessary expense on a stocker. Roller lifters isn't going to make anyone notice a increase in there wealth either.

Limit valve spring pressure. Maybe 120lbs seat, 300 lbs @ .500".

Best request yet ! I tried to get NHRA to set spring pressures at 150 lbs and 350 lbs open back in 1985. That's the same as a 426 street Hemi and a 440 6 pack if I remember right. It was like talking to a wall !

Well that's an interesting idea. Do you really need much more seat pressure than this? Seems kind of wasteful on a lot of friction based valvetrain motors to run so much spring pressure...
