Quadrajet "Guru"
Is there someone in the New England area that works on Q-jets that you guys would recommend? I'd like mine gone over and tuned up a bit before the season, if possible.
Thanks. Ron Sinclair

Re: Quadrajet "Guru"
I don't know if he still tinkers with them, but "Hollywood" Bob Horgan helped me out with mine. I was running an N/SA Caprice with a 305 (flat top, big cam). I bought a Deano Q-Jet and it worked pretty well but Bob played with it and was able to get almost another tenth out of it with better throttle response for my application. He used to live in Tyngsboro, MA but I think he moved to NH. Pete Stickles from Dover, NH also does Q-Jets and has helped me in the past. His business is "The Prep Shop".
