Where do you race at? Douglas, SGMP, Sunshine? Just wondering, I live in Jacksonville, so I am in between a couple tracks. Thanks.

We were at the bracket finals one year. A racer told us he had his best year ever he had won 10 races and a little over $3,000 for the year Footbraking. I was amazed. I had won 1 race that paid that much. I asked him where he was from. He said Florida. They raced 1/4 mile too. I could'nt beleive those tracks got away with that little payout.
We are spoiled in the Carolinas, and the racers don't realize it.

I like the Calcutta, Our two semi local tracks run a Dialing for Dollars pot.
Based on the last TT.
It seems like they are different. One can be closest to dial, the other is best package.
The buy backs are a big deal ,too.
I had a buddy that raced at a low car count race do his second round buy back for $25 and put him in the semi with $50 pay out.

The 1/4 tracks here are Gainesville,Orlando,Bradenton and the old Moroso, now PBIA. Raced for years at Moroso, decent payout, Bradenton and Orlando are dead cheap,$300-$400 footbrake win moneyI did a season at SGMP,pro winner and sportsman champion, I won $850 for the season. I'm ready to build a 330' track in my back yard!
