Simple question but felt the need…..HP and weight sticker
With the latest system of “do it yourself”items with online entry and tech cards, does it matter how the engine HP and weight information is displayed on the window ….,can we create our own sticker as long it is correct and legible ???

Re: Simple question but felt the need…..HP and weight sticke
Here in D3 from what I've seen, they're just punching the driver's car number into their laptop to get the cu. in./HP/weight data. It surely eliminates the need for the scale/tech personnel to have to get up from their seat every single time just to read the old style Cu. In./HP/weight stickers.

Hey Jim….,I get what you are saying but what about competition and spectators knowing what the car information is ??? Don’t you like reading the description ???

Re: Simple question but felt the need…..HP and weight sticke
I race mostly in Div 5&7. I made my own using an old weight sticker as a kind of template. Printed it on a white piece of paper, trimmed it and taped it on the window. Reason I did this is because I change classes frequently and the tech guys have a difficult time finding them when asked.
I have a friend that painted his on the ‘C’ pillar.

Re: Simple question but felt the need…..HP and weight sticke
When I go to the races with someone who is not familiar with Class Racing, I like to show them the weight/HP stickers on the cars so they get a better understanding of the various combinations of cars and engines. Most are quite surprised how fast many of the combinations run. I think it makes it much more interesting for them when they watch the races from the stands.
