Default engines?

How often should you freshen a bracket motor? I have about 125 passes on my motor. thanks 1 season

If it's running well and has good components (like premium rods) then 300 runs should be ok. Lots of variables like radical cams and RPM range but 200 runs would be the minimum you could expect to get out of it.

My 383 13-1 flat tappet,Iron eagle plat heads,has 500 runs on it and I'm just now going to freshen it.Motor is in my 68 camaro that weighs 3125 and runs 10.32@130 with a glide.

if the engine has good stuff in it 300 is a safe # ck the liftes at this point. throw the rods away after 600 pass

If it has steel rods then 300-400 should be fine.
