Question Carb Question

Digging around looking for carburetor for BBC, the guide shows Quick Fuel SSR-780-VS as a replacement for all 3310s.
Holley no longer list this number as available, so what is the accepted replacement?

You can use any Holley 3310 vacuum secondary Holley as long it meets the dimensions in the accepted products list and doesn't have idle screws in the secondary blocks.

Thanks...
I was afraid I was going to have to go to the swap meet and hunt up a throttle body with the correct numbers and build one!
Makes it easier...
Might even have one in the pile!

Looks like Summit has the SS-780-VS but not the NHRA Legal SSR-780-VS . The Holley website shows 4 version of the legal carb , but none in stock , and they said they will not be making any more . This is not good . Who else could make one of these carbs since they are the legal carb for most of the rectangular port BB Chevys .

It looks like when Holley bought quick fuel they dropped the NHRA approved carbs. I tried calling about the legal 585 carb with no success. And no one even calls you back when you try to call about them. Maybe with the pandemic no one is even in the office anymore.

That's what they told me yesterday...
Dug through the pile, and all I have are mechanical secondaries.
Except for the three barrel...
Maybe bolt that on?...

Off to the swap meet I go...

I'll see if I can call tech. and see what THEY say.
