Re: What Stock rules would you change?
Working brake lights from a mandatory, non-bypassable switch. So we can see who is hitting the brakes and when. Plus it could eliminate line lock and launch control starts. Brake lights should be on when you start, and not on until AFTER you cross the stripe!

Allow TruStart and crank triggers. Get rid of E-shift.

Allow the LT1 engines to toss that Opti Junk in the garbage where it belongs and either do CNP or a "normal" distributor. They are already allowed a crank trigger and aftermarket ECM's.

Re: What Stock rules would you change?
Though I'm generally against anything turning a Stocker into a SS'er I would like to see Crank triggers allowed, especially now when more and more Cars/engines that have modern fuel/spark systems find the way into the mix of older cars it would be nice to at least be able to eliminate the irregular timing you often get with more normal setups going through timing chains(of more and more questionable quality) dist.gears etc.

Oh, wait. Here's three different 305, 4bbl. Malibu wagons that won Divisionals this year, with irregular timing..How do you suppose that happened?

Re: What Stock rules would you change?
I don’t think you can draw conclusions from current races without really knowing more than what is on line. If tru start was in play, surely any racer would know that and adjust how they drive race etc.
