Re: Any NHRA E.T Challenge winners here?
Ok Phillip, talked with the track owner today here at Coos Bay. He did not know in advance about any winners, not until the award ceremony at the banquet. He said they paraded all the other winners across the stage, and everyone got a jacket.EXCEPT the land of the leaders winners. he asked about that, and was brushed off. He decided to get the jackets for the guys from Coos Bay out of his own pocket. So, it looks like you have been treated the same as any other "Land of the Leaders" winner........... Its not the same as being on stage, acknowledged by your peers, pictures taken, and a moment of glory, BUT, i will applaud you for your achievements this past racing season........Tom Jarvis

Re: Any NHRA E.T Challenge winners here?
Thanks for the info, Sound's like the track manager there like's his racer's.
Hey Dave, here is the list I got from Dennis Super Pro - Walter Fernets - Saskatchewan Pro - Justin Cooper - Walla Walla Sportsman - Phillip Marvetz - Mission MC - Kevin Brennan - Mission If anyone know's these guy's tell them they are getting screwed by our wonderful leader! It clearly states in writing that we get a jacket, It has been in writing since at least 2003. I sent an email to Jonathon and his reply was that we do not get jackets. It was a typo... WTF? A typo? Since 2003 it's a typo? Div 7 get's jackets. Div 6 get's told it's a typo. When NHRA want's my membership $$$$$ I'm going to tell them it's a typo. I've got two NHRA legal stocker's for sale if anyone want's a new ride.

Re: Any NHRA E.T Challenge winners here?
A lovely message concerning me from my division director.
http://twitter.com/JonathanAdams I love when people bitch about free stuff. And cc my boss when they send the bitchy email. Nothing but whiners and stupid people all damn day? (this one on another twitter friend page) My membership is not free, The entry fee is not free, The race car is not free. The jacket is not free, I raced my azz off for it.

Jr. and I have won three between us and just got only one Hat each time and a very shiny Wally that looked like it lost a fight with a buffer. Are you coming South this year?

Re: Any NHRA E.T Challenge winners here?
Hey John,
I'm not real sure what my plans are for this season, Kelly has some vacation time now but we also have a dog and a cat so it's hard to just pick up and leave for a week to go racing, Although it would be fun to fly down there for a long weekend with you and the boy's. I am really questioning if I want to give NHRA any more of my money at this point. My membership expires in July and the national event isn't until august, So I am kind of playing with the idea of running Denver. IHRA is coming to a track near us so that has my interest also, It may be time for a change. It's obvious that our NHRA director doesn't care for me to much, LOL.Over at IHRA I can run the Hemi with a crossram in stock at the same HP factor so why wouldn't I do that? I'll be in the shop today so I'll try to get those picture's for you.( I keep forgetting to take my camera) Hope you and the boy's are all doing well and thanks for the help with that 440.
