Default ATI torque converters?

Hey boys and girls, has anybody got any feedback for me on ATI race converters? Im considering an 8" 5500 stall for my Vega, and was curious why everyone else is getting 900-1200 for a converter, and ATI is getting like 660? Any help would be appreciated-Thanks,Lew.

Do you have a playback tac? Same stall for both but the coan was a tenth faster? I run a ati and thought my set up was spot on. Very curious.

I bought my ATI through Marty Rinehart. Picked up 2 mph and about .15 quicker in the 1/8.
Qtr mile was improved as well.

None better in my book, call ATI and speak to Charlie Plott.

Been running ATI converters since '95 and I've run as quick as 1.28 60 foot off the footbrake in this 3880 lb. ride with a cast iron oval port headed 468 under the hood topped with a 4150 carb, backed by a turbo400 and 4.10 gear.

and 1.17 60 foot off the footbrake in this 3124 lb. ride with a oval port headed 522 under the hood topped with a 4150 carb, backed by a turbo400 and 4.57 gear.

I challenge any converter manufacturer to build me a converter that can match no mind eclipse my performance using an ATI converter!!

Some have tried and failed!

Call Marty at Rinehart Performance.
He is a distributor and will get you the discount.
And, he only talks to Charlie so you will get the same converter you'd get direct. If you have any issues, you then talk to Charlie and you are in the same place for the WD price.

Order it from whoever you like but speak to Charlie first. I too am an ATI WD.
