Detroit Dragway...but , back when they held the us nationals there. I'dove to watch all the gassers drive in and then run down the track with their license plates...

Because I've raced at San Gabriel, Fremont, Lions, OCIR, Irwindale, Fontana (original), and Riverside Raceway, none of them fit the description "If I could..."
The one that I'm sorry I missed would be Half Moon Bay. c

Cecil County,Md when they had grass median tween lanes. Bus went there from Bainbridge Navy base , kepy us in touch with the real world .
