Question Valve Cover Breathers?

I have K&N and they drip a bit under WOT. I am thinking of the old Moroso style . I went with the K&N for a the looks but I think I should have known better.I have PCV hooked up as the factory did on BBC. Any other options you guys have found??? Appreciate the input.

I found this in a previous thread "Crankcase Ventilation". The quote by Myron Piatek: {I wish I would have had time to sit down & find out how he did it, but Truman Fields showed me his set-up on his 400 Firebird many years ago. Not sure if it was the IHRA Pure Stock or regular Stocker. Anyway, he told me to remove the oil fill cap with the car running. After tugging on several times with no success, I figured it was a twist-on style. After many turns, that didn't work either. Finally I grabbed onto it and gave it a pretty hefty tug, and it came out! He had an amazing amount of vacuum built up in the crankcase.}

Question: Is the Valve Cover Breather a requirement?

Is there a baffle under the breather? If not one may help.

Thumbs up Re: Valve Cover Breathers?

Thanks for the input. The valve cover is baffled so I think I am going to try the suggested Napa 2997 unit. I think as the air goes over the cover it pulls a bit on the K&N style. This is a street car so it has some blow by also. Thanks for the input,appreciate your time.
