Default 2 step launch

Just curious, for those with a two step when do you prefer to floor it?
Everyone staged? First amber? What works for you?

Thanks

I stage the car without activating the two step.
As soon as both cars have both lights on = I roll
(not slam) the throttle wide open.

Are you talking heads up? Transbrake? Or footbrake? For me it depends on if I leave first and or how much the e.t. difference is.

Heads up it's pretty easy to just go on the 2 step after all 4 stage bulbs are on. If it's a dial in race if you're the slow car it's again easy to go on the 2 step after everyone is staged. If you're the fast car depending on how much the difference is determines when to go on the 2 step unless you want to sit there on it for some reason.
With a transbrake I don't hold my foot on the brake pedal so once you're staged and locked in position you know the car is going to stand still. On the footbrake when you 2 step you have to be sure you have pressure to hold the car as you're not feeling the car power brake as the RPMs come up.
