He also did a great one recently with Darin Morgan. Only downside is that it is three hours long!

However if you want to find out about the "new" 2008 Ford Comp and maybe Pro Stock engine it is worth it.

Yes Bill, I watched that video as was very interested in the technology of that Ford wedge. More comparable to the DRCE engine than Pro Stock Ford Hemis most ran and that video elaborates on some of those points. Darrin Morgan is definitely knowledgable in cylinder head design!

As far as 3 hours long.... time flies by when working on the race cars!

Isn’t that the engine that ran 215 mph in AED?

Same engine configuration with only 1 carburetor. Run made by Clint Neff in an Harry Clack dragster creation.

Yes, that is the same engine. Darin Morgan tells that in the video and also how Neff scoured the country in search of parts and pretty much has the only parts in existence. Ford said they'd build more if people ordered it but.... doubt even 1000 orders would have them cast blocks and heads... Jim Cunningham funded it and they used the Hemi instead. This engine is same architecture as DRCE and much more efficient at the lower rpm than the Hemi. Obvious A lot of work out in the shop and these videos are my background noise !!

As for Clint's 215mph run, I will not go into that but will tell you people will be watching that car closely this year. Not saying illegal but will say numbers disprove physics and thats all I'm saying there! I will say the engine in my ProStart A/DA is the same bullet that holds the NHRA NA speed record when in Bob Books rail. Up 40 hp now though
