The pump must be lower than the fuel - remember, electric pumps ONLY "push" fuel, they don't "pull", unlike a mechanical pump.

Mount the fuel pump as close to the fuel tank as possible. Also figure out what class you want to run and you can make the plate where the fuel tank was and make it thicker or thinner to help with the weight of your car. In my Fairlane i had a 1/8 inch steel plate with about 60 pounds of ballast and a full size battery to weigh 3400 LBS.

Just to give you guys an update. Our Holbrook Racing Engine 302 is getting very close to being completed and should be on the dyno in 2 weeks. It is Beautiful and an extremely nice piece

Theirs was 76 model. Different body style. My mother bought one withe the 351 2V. she would let me borrow it, to go to Irwindale and OCIR. it was a gutless wonder.

Mike Graham built Autolite Carburetor mounted and The 302 is almost ready for the Dyno room at Holbrook Racing Engines
