"I am building a backup transmission for my car 1988 Mustang stock eliminator K/SA. I am a newbie to youtube but giving it a try. First off, I am no expert at anything. I have thick skin, so don't be afraid of offending me. Comments welcome. I have learned everything by doing. I have to build my stocker from the ground up everything, except when I don't have the tooling to do it like engine machine work like block and cylinder head work. I do everything cause I enjoy it. I knew nothing about fuel injection when I started on this car. I have learned a lot and still learning. I tune my own car.
I have known James for some time and he enjoys learning and trying things on his own to learn. He also does research and not afraid to ask questions.

This video is some thing I have not done before which is lightening the sun shell. Usually I buy this part but they were out of stock of them so off to the mill to do it myself. This took me a little time to figure out. I did one sun shell just to see if I could do it, was surpise that it came out very well. So I did a second one for the video. The second one took a lot less time.

Notes on Boyce:
Nice guy, helped me a lot when I broke into the sport around five years ago.
Got a piston added to the Accepted Products list by shipping it to NHRA. They returned it in broken packaging...of course
Haules his Mustang in what appears to be a horse trailer.
Don't loan him a camshaft you really want back.
Looking forward to seeing him back at thr track.
