I've just heard the 'internet' stories. The one I would be interested in is Evan Smith, as he is even a writer for National Dragster.

BTW---had the pleasure of racing your Dad Rd 3 in Topeka...1st class family!!! Hope to see you in Earville, IA?!?!

That was fun at Topeka! They were going to leave the car at Earlville and rent a car to come back for a couple of days, but they have had a rather rough time at Indy this week. Dad couldn't get the transmission to shift to 3rd or 4th during a qualifying run at Topeka. Thought he fixed the problem, but it re-appeared first run at Indy. Long story short(er), after three aborted runs and a broken transmissions later (first time we have ever hurt a Jerico), he stabbed Gene Bichlmeier's spare in the car for one final attempt at the top 128, John Force style! Now I have to sit and listen to eliminator on my computer tomorrow morning at 6:30 for round one!

Ok, it's not finalized yet. Just heard they might still be going, but won't know for sure until after Monday. I don't know if you saw the video I posted on YouTube, but I always enjoy seeing new cars in the area that we don't normally see. You guys obviously take great pride in your operation, and it shows! It was a pleasure lining up next to you at Topeka, and we all look forward to seeing you guys again soon! Good luck at Earlville!

I also heard that #7 qualified Jay Higgins will miss eliminations due to legal trouble. Oops!

Yep---I've seen the YouTube video (loved it)...my engine builder is Bret Voges (if I recall, he's lined up with you folks in one video). I'd love to do a 'in car' cam of sorts some day with my ride...like Mike Iacono's All-Star video.

Thanks! It's a lot of work, by a lot of people as your well aware.

I need to find the brake pedal faster...lol. I didn't think my car was going to pick up THAT much. I had run back-to-back .49's prior. Oh well.........

I know the feeling! Our's slowed .02 in the quarters against Justin Jenkins for no apparent reason. That's drag racing though. Just goes to show, even if you have all the electronics giving you run predictions, mother nature is going to have the final say!

We've supplied bare castings to Bret a few times in the past. Seems like a good guy, though I've never personally met him.

I hope to have "in-car" footage real soon. I've driven the car several times myself in the past, but I've always wanted to see dad "bangin' gears" from the inside. Check out this link. Troy Henderson (A/S) sent this to me. He likes his, although he's never used it in his own car! Seems to be an inexpensive way to see "blue sky" on launch.

Take care,

Apparently, I received some bogus info about Jay Higgins. My appologies.
