Car Name Memories
Brutus. Eastern Raider. Yankee Peddler. Strip Poker. Names from a period when the cars were the stars. Today, it’s more about the people than anything else, which is probably what it should be, but oh those names, they defined the car and the driver.

Re: Car Name Memories
Having come of age in the era of most race cars having names I toyed with a couple for my Willys , none that ever came to life
It took an offhand comment from a certain ProStock racer from Malvern to coin the " Bullets to Spare " name that the Willys and now the Vette wear. After breaking an engine [AMC back then] the first day of a Maple Grove divisional race I went home and thrashed an engine together out of whatever I had . When I got back the next day ,I was pitted next to Paul Thimm and Kevin Robb . Jenkins was there with them and casually walked by my car and said, How many spare AMC bullets do you have ? Bill's unwitting contribution to my racing program !

Re: Car Name Memories
Well, there's always Bullet and the G.M. Hustler. Both cars look a little different today...
