Default Battery Terminal "Coating"

As usual, another question for the Racers that know their stuff....

I just added Dual-AGM Batteries to the Trunk of my Race Car (an Old 1970 Olds 442 Super Stock Car that I now "ET" and "Nostalgia" Race for fun). I have a question about Battery Terminal "Coating" for the Terminals to prevent corrosion over time.
I have heard there is someone that makes a "clear" Coating/Spray? or? that I can apply to the Terminals that doesn't "make a mess" or become unsightly...Don't really want gooey Red, Purple of Yellow "ooze" all over the Terminals, etc.
Does anyone know of a "clear" product like this that they could recommend? I'm asking in this Forum because I always receive good, solid answers here....really appreciate the help.

Harold

Never had an issue with the agm battery’s doing that. Probably not needed

Thanks Keith. Haven't had any experience yet with AGM's.

The little install kits in the auto parts with the red and green anti corrosion discs, come with a pack of dielectric grease for this purpose.

It will leave it greasy and may not be something you want to deal with.

I would think in a race car the battery would be charged and serviced enough you could stay on top of this without any grease or sprays.

I have seen Optimas corrode over time if neglected,

I retired from AT&T

We used this product on all electrical connections including bare copper before installing crimped on lugs. Works Great!
