Edelbrock makes a new NHRA legal head . Part number 60547 , and it's available . Edelbrock made the 401 head for GM Performance Parts, and some of their crate motors, but they stopped making them for some reason .

Didn't the bean counters take control?
Moved Edelbrock and started using a different foundry Could that be part of the equation? The other part migh be GM Performance parts quit...
