2022 Season Kick-Off Details

My apologies up front as life has gotten in the way and I got very far behind in getting information on the 2022 ASRA season out to everyone. A newsletter has been sent out to our email list and an electronic copy can be downloaded from our website (here). Please check it out as it contains a lot of details for the upcoming season.

The season gets underway the weekend of June 18th and 19th with a double header at Lebanon Valley. In conjunction with this doubleheader, Lebanon Valley also will award the top points earner over the two days a drum of C12. The Saturday race will be the Mark Markow Memorial Race which will have some additional money up for grabs to ASRA members. On Saturday, we'll be hosting the annual picnic at the conclusion of racing. ASRA will supply burgers, dogs, and drinks and we appreciate any sides and deserts that attendees are willing to bring.

Membership is $350 and our waiver can be downloaded here.

In collaboration with the tracks, the gate fees have been increased to $85 per race to increase the track portion of the purse. All participants will be running for $650 Win/$300 RU along with increased round money starting with a first round win. An ASRA member with the Banks Chevrolet decals will be running for $1650 Win/$800 RU in total. Full details can be found in the newsletter.

At the race on August 20th at New England Dragway, we'll also be hosting a memorial race for Steve and Beth Broadbent with the support of the Broadbent family. This race will also provide increased payouts to ASRA members.
