There is no First Amendment right to use someone else's property ( i.e. - a business' logo) on anything without their permission.

Likewise, when you are on private property or at a private event, the property owner or event owner can stop you from saying or doing what you want.

I will agree that it's their party and they make the rules which we are always reminded by NHRA. But it's not a business logo it's a political logo no different than a person putting signs in their front yard. Whether I or anyone else agrees with a person's choice of candidates should be irrevelant they have an opinion. It's a shame that we live in such a butthurt society that we can't respect other people's views or an organization like NHRA or NASCAR are worried about hurting someone's damn feelings!

I really doubt there are many democrats attending or racing at any NHRA events. Its the democrats that want to eliminate racing and the use of the types of fuels we burn in our race cars. NHRA should be firmly behind the republican party if they have any idea what is good for them. Unfortunately NHRA headquarters is located in the land of fruits and nuts. So who knows where the political views lye. Sad time for our country these days.

Why do I think images of Che Guevara, Karl Marx, Abimael Guzmán and Fidel Castro would be just fine?

At the recently run LODRS/Sportsnationals double at New England Dragway, there were many campaign signs and flags displayed and at least one car with a large candidates sign on the door. Thought it was just a display of one of our freedoms.

I do understand it is their sandbox, but I think they would be better served to just let it go

I'm happy about Bo Butner's message but being that's it's in the rule book's General Regulations it in violation of the rule.
Does NASCAR have the same rule, I don't think so as I seem to remember a car four years ago with a "Make America Great Again" graphics.

About 50 cars show up with Trump on them! Lmao
those cars are not on tv. basically NHRA s tv coverage is the issue if you read the complete statement and rules
