Ok guys, who do think will be the number 1 qualifier in stock and superstock? Since everyone can run as fast as they want to and not be penalized.

I was told that it doesn't matter what Sanction you claim. If you show up in the lanes with the same Classification it's a heads up race.

Cool Re: Rules for SGMP race March 19

Forgive my ignorance, I've never been good with the ladders. I need a little more information to understand how the qualifying works at this race. Lets say there's 105 stockers and 85 Super Stockers. How is/are the ladders set up, and at which point are the Super Stocks "blended" into the final ladder?

Did you hear that from one of the promoters?

Yes, the promoters posted that the classes would be separate until either class reached 1 car. In Mr. Bailey's example (105 and 85 entries) both individual classes are 7 round races and the Stock winner and SS winner would race each other in the 8th round.

If one class is a 6 round race and the other a 7 round race then both classes will be combined and re-laddered based on reaction time following the 6th round.

No, I simply read the rules. .....Stk and SS will run separately in the 20 grand to win races until there is one car left in each class. At that point the 2 will be merged......Today the promoters announced that the Nitro Fish Nacho Night racer appreciation party will be held Saturday after the racing is completed.....YUMMY !!!!

Question Re: Rules for SGMP race March 19

Michael, This is where I'm confused ... An email I received agrees with Drew. In the event that ether class is down to one car it will be merged into the opposite ladder based on reaction times, ( what ever that means ). I think a clarification is needed. I guess you could have two Super Stocks or two Stockers in the final.
