Re: Engine Diaper Clarification
Do you offer "ballistic" type diapers without the SFI tag? I was also curious if I could run an expired SFI tagged diaper in S/G where we still don't require SFI?

Re: Engine Diaper Clarification
I have Kevlar diapers .If it is an SFI diaper and is out of date it is no differant than a set of seat belts it is not legal and could keep you from racing

On the seat belt issue, I thought you could use expired seat belts in a car that is not required to have an SFI-spec harness (i.e., 11.50 & slower).

Re: Engine Diaper Clarification
Hard to believe the non SFI diaper rule would be different than the seat belt rule. My seat belts in my stocker are out of date, have been for 5 or 6 years. A few tech guys have questioned it and my response is, "I have the original 40 plus year old seat belts in the glove box, I can put them on and be legal, will I be safer?"

I agree Bill ,I was answering a question ask me about the SFI diaper .NHRA has told racers this so you can do what you want .If you are at a track and a tech guy says it is not legal then what do you do .

Re: Engine Diaper Clarification
Cut the SFI tag off and go back through. Throw some water on your face and tell them how big a of a PIA it was to change out.
