I installed a Flowmaster cat-back system on my 98 454 dually and it helped decreased my gas consumption by 1.5 mpg. It also seems to have more power as well. The stock monster muffler I have to believe is very restrictive.

I tried to fix your mileage problem on that thing, but no luck...J/K
Good luck...finding mileage on these big trucks is tough at best...

Hi

Use a throttle body spacer Poweraide, See if K&N have the Fipkit for your model and use a Superchip power programmer, we do a lot of these at our shop, they do help, if you can`t get the K & N try AFE, stage 2 if they make one for your model, you will have a little modifying to do to the Air cleaner/ Intake tube once you use a throttle body spacer but it is worth it.

Hope this helps
