Let's not shut it down. Their are a few that push my buttons on here, but you might notice that I have ignored them. In my younger life a couple of months ago, I would have jumped in with both feet. Maybe it took me this long in life (73) to realize that some people are going to be complete azz holes, that is their nature and that is what they get off on. Most of those few people on here, either do not race, tried to race with their brother 15 years ago, and would not understand cam timing if you drew them a picture. IMO these people look for and found a web site that is not full of 15 year old keyboard jockeys, that they can irritate.

I am not sure if I am one of the people you are talking about or not.

Yes you are correct in that I do not race anymore.

I have for a long time produced software (which I still do) and yes there are members of Class Racer who have my software.

If I have missed a thread talking at camshafts since I have been a member of Class Racer in the "Stock and Super Stock Tech" section can you please post a link to it. So just what about camshafts would you like to talk?

I would like to point out that whether some one races currently or has done so in the past it should not matter when they express an opinion regarding a topic such as politics. There are likely numerous members of this site that for one reason or another have not raced, yet they often take the time to contribute. These contributions may be in the form of posting page after page of pictures for all of us to enjoy. There are also members who are die hard fans of S/SS that stay in the stands while you guys run rather than scurry off to the Force pits.
We all have a love of this sport/hobby/business and that ultimately should unite us regardless.

I have no issue with people that don't race being on here, unless their purpose is to agitate people for their own satisfaction. Hell, I haven't raced in a while. First was a stroke, then cancer. Both cars are lonely sitting on jack stands ready to go.

Age and health are not excuses. If they are too fragile and feeble to "play" with "toys" in their garages then they're probably too feeble to be watching politics on TV.[/QUOTE]

Billy, I respectfully disagree.

I ASSumed that by the way the last line was written that the readers would/could see the sarcasm that was intended. No offense.

Ken;
If you shut down the lounge it won't be as easy to separate the sharp guys from the name callers.
