Default Racing, covid wins again

Just venting, Covid wins again. Here in Arizona we enjoy year-round racing. And once again it’s canceled. Tucson Dragway is a great place to bracket race and get some seat time for the divisional and regional race in February. The state locked us down. Hangover nationals, new years race, canceled. All races in January, Canceled. Casinos, open. Restaurants open. Gyms Open. But we can’t race in the open air. When will it ever end? Is 2021 going to be a racing bust too? I sure hope not.

I assume Arizona has a democrat governor? There really is no reason to cancel outdoor activities like racing. If you are vulnerable to the virus then just stay home.

We have rep. Gov.. The county has decided to make the rules. Like Robbie said casinos open, outdoor activity to dangerous. I went to casino in northern Az. and with every other machine not usable it really didnt change head count. All it did was make more people wait for a open machine. A lot more crowded then pit spaces and staging lanes. Open the damn track.

I love Arizona. Many times Democrats will not run near where I live near Wickenburg. We are dead solid Republican. Problem with this last election is that "legal weed" was on the ballot, which brought out every one in the state that can not pass a pre employment drug screen. Other issue is all of the "out of staters" and africans that have moved here and vote democrat.
