Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Larry, your doing a great, quality job and making good time on it! Hell, I've been working on my DP for 3 years and will be lucky to have it complete by the Fall Classic at Indy ( this year...I hope...maybe).
Can't wait to see your completed Drag Pak at the Track. I'll try not to drool on it.

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
Found a used topper for my truck so I can travel with my engine secluded, dry, and out of sight. Topper was born black but painted white, of course my truck is black. And so it goes.....

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
I'm not finished with the engine yet, and have started a to do list on how to improve serviceable and methods on the next gen3 hemi build.
A funny thing happened when getting all the sensors in a pile to check fitment. The adapters will not work, I need ------32, but I ordered -----23, just another stupid old man trick. Oh well UPS likes me Last edited by Larry Hill; 07-07-2019 at 09:14 AM. |

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
This goes in the category of a fly in the ointment. I had to have my right wrist worked on requiring several stitches. So this will slow progress, just what the Dr. ordered.

Re: Dumbo The Flying Elephant
I'm so lucky to have Patsy as a wife and racing partner, she likes racing. She is not very mechanical but would almost take a Bullet to get to go to Indy.
Today will be lite duty day. Clean and put up tools. Make list of things to take and do at dyno. Install injectors and fuel rails. Plumb return lines to regulator and other stuff One head on, one to go! Last edited by Larry Hill; 01-10-2020 at 01:09 PM. |
